Mavrouvono
Our story
Mavrovouno - The black mountain. This mountain, which is anything but dark, offers breathtaking views of the mountains and the sea. Perched on a hill, bathed in the Greek sun and the sounds of nature, Mavrovouno's house is nestled in its own green haven.

A place for family reunions, meetings with people from all walks of life and a place of renewal, Mavrovouno is above all a family home, built 20 years ago by a Swiss family, one generation of whom settled there permanently.
The house welcomes guests from all over the world. It is ecologically self-sufficient, collecting rainwater and sunlight to operate. Its vegetable garden feeds all guests, whether they are passing through or staying for an extended period, and its hen keeps the cats company.

The house has five double bedrooms that will serve as music rooms. There is also a small bamboo hut that will accommodate volunteer helpers. An outdoor and an indoor kitchen are set up to accommodate large groups.
It is about a 6-minute walk from Tholaria village and a 10-minute drive from Aegiali beach and port.
