Nestled on a peaceful, unspoiled island free from airports, fast food restaurants, and shopping malls, it offers stunning sandy beaches, scenic mountain trails, and charming taverns and ice cream shops in picturesque white villages by the sea.

Most importantly, our fantastic team is bursting with creative ideas to ensure you have the best week of your summer. Join us for an adventure filled with music, laughter, and unforgettable memories!

Music

Three programmes for (almost) all ages.

The Discovery Programme: A half-day workshop for children aged 7 to 13, specially designed for young musicians on vacation with their families in Greece. The perfect opportunity to nurture their passion for music while having fun in a magical setting.

The Big Blue Programme: A full-day course for young artists aged 7 to 13 travelling with their families who seek a well-rounded experience. Enjoy music every morning, followed by exciting excursions, activities, beach time, and games each afternoon.

The Getaway Programme: For ages 13 to 17, our week-long music camp (nine days with travel) brings together passionate young people from all over the world. No matter what instrument they play, everyone is welcome! We create tailor-made arrangements and organise groups where everyone finds their place and role. The days are punctuated by lessons and rehearsals, and all this leads to a magical moment: the final concert on the beach, at sunset. That evening, parents, friends, cousins and islanders let themselves be lulled by the music that floats away with the waves.

As a bonus, for those who choose the full camp, an even more special experience awaits them: the exploration of traditional Greek music alongside local artists. The young artists will have the chance to participate in workshops and take to the stage for a 100% Greek evening.

Choose the program that suits you and prepare yourself for an unforgettable holiday.

Activities

Beach volleyball

Music lessons take place in our little corner of paradise, Mavrovouno's house, located in the village of Tholaria in Amorgos.

In addition to music, the house offers a multitude of creative and fun activities. Young people can learn about art, gardening, group games, or participate in decorating the spaces, such as creating mandalas on tables, to give free rein to their imagination.

For those registered for the full day or full board stay, each afternoon is dedicated to varied excursions: relaxing on the beach, discovering small picturesque villages, and of course, the unmissable volleyball tournament which, throughout the week, pits teachers and students against each other in a friendly atmosphere. Greek cooking and dancing workshops are also offered, allowing young people to fully immerse themselves in the local culture.

In short, a rich and diverse program to live an authentic experience in the heart of Mediterranean life.

Life on the island

It is in our house in Mavrovouno that we meet to share most of our meals, except when we have lunch on a beach, a gyros in hand, between two activities. Nestled on the "black mountain" and surrounded by greenery, this house has welcomed over the years people from all walks of life... and animals too! A goat, a hen, a duck, a donkey, not to mention a host of cats, all saved and pampered here after not finding their place elsewhere.

No wifi in Mavrovouno, hot water is provided by the sun, and electricity is limited. But for those who fear the lack of connection, rest assured: children staying in full board will be accommodated in a hotel with all modern comforts. It is our teachers who will live and give their music lessons in Mavrovouno.

Life on the island follows a leisurely pace. Sometimes we walk through the mountains to reach the beach, sometimes we take the bus. Throughout our adventures, we will taste traditional dishes in local taverns and have the chance to listen to local musicians share their authentic Greek music.
